Horse Anatomy first time Study (2021-2022)

I had the pleasure of working on my first horse anatomy sculpting job, a unique commission to create a highly muscular horse model for a 3D printing project. Using a 3D scan provided by the client, I sculpted detailed muscular anatomy in ZBrush, relying heavily on references and anatomy books to ensure accuracy. To respect the privacy of the horse and its owners, the horse’s face is covered in some images.

This post shows pictures of the sliced horse model, which stands 2300mm tall. If we had a 3D printer with a bed size of 400x400x600mm, the model was sliced using Luba3D as a demonstration. I have no idea what, if, or how the client printed this.

This project was a fantastic opportunity to combine my passion for anatomy with advanced 3D sculpting techniques.
